1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of merjoai.net ("merjoai.net", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use merjoai.net.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use merjoai.net. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. The service

merjoai.net lets you generate synthetic speech from text and create custom voice clones, by routing your requests to ElevenLabs. Available voices and features may change over time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use merjoai.net to:

• Clone a voice without the explicit consent of the person whose voice it is, or impersonate any person or entity without authorization.
• Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, harassing, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or publicity rights.
• Generate misleading audio intended to deceive, including fabricated statements attributed to real people.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the platform, or interfere with its normal operation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

5. Your content and generated audio

You retain ownership of the text and audio samples you submit. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, audio you generate is yours to use, including for commercial purposes. Some voices made available through ElevenLabs may carry additional provider-specific usage restrictions, which we surface in the voice picker where applicable — you are responsible for complying with them.

You grant merjoai.net a limited license to process your text and audio submissions solely to provide and improve the service, including sending them to ElevenLabs as needed to fulfill your requests.

6. Billing and payment

merjoai.net is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis, settled in USDT. You submit a transaction hash to confirm payment, which we verify before crediting your account. Credits applied to your account are generally non-refundable except where required by law or at our discretion.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep merjoai.net available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and availability may depend on the uptime of ElevenLabs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, merjoai.net and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using merjoai.net and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of merjoai.net after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
